Martial Arts Combat Staff

This is a hand made Combat Staff made in the tradition of the Irish method. It is cured for at least 6 months, most for a year, and then "re-greened" using an all natural process. It is then rounded to sanded to the buyers size. These staves are made to the buyers specifications. We can make them in the Chinese style where they are at the "eye brow" level or in the European style where it is the site of your full body with the extended arm. Please expect a certain amount of preperation time for this item.

Fighting Stick
These fighting sticks come single or in pairs. They are used throughout the world in many different Martial Arts styles. In the Silver Dragon school we teach them as a "basic" weapon, but this doesnt mean that they are not effective. Just the opposite, they are maybe the oldest and most effective weapon in the world.

Nun Chuck
This ancient Japanese weapon was used by farmers. Consider one of the "big 4" of the Japanese Martial Arts. Made famous by Bruce Lee in many of his movies, but they were also weapons used in China by Kung-fu and shaolin practictioners.

Practice Nun Chuck
A practice version of the ancient Japanese Nun-chuck. This weapon was originally a farm impliment used to thrash wheat by farmers.

Sai
Another one of the "big 4" of Japanese Martial Arts. There are many different stories about the history of this weapon. Some say that it was a farming impliment, some say it was used to hunt with, and other say that it was used as a non-lethal weapon by palace guards. It is possible that all of these stories are true. This weapon was also used by Chinese Kung-fu practicioners and even Shaolin-monks, although in China it was called the "Iron Ruler". These are made of very strong metal! This is one of the official weapons of the Silver Dragon Martial Arts Academy. Comes in child size and adult size.

Three Sectional Staff
Supposedly created when Emperor Qin, the first emperor of China, broke his staff in combat. He then tied the two halves together and then later a 3rd section. This is considered a "felxible" weapon and even though it is not an official weapon of the Silver Dragon Martial Arts Academy it is still taught from time to time.

Spear - chinese style
Often times called the "king of the pole arm" by Chinese Shaolin martial artist, the Chinese style of spear was meant to be fast and fexible. The prefered middel to long range melee weapon of the foot soldier throughout most of the ancient history of china.

Spear - Spartan style
These spears are made in the Greek or Spartan design (also used by the Athenians and other Greek city-states). This is type of spear measures at least one full arm length longer then the full height of the wielder. We hand make these spears and then attach a strong authenic looking replica spear head. We use the same techniques in creating these spears as we do our Combat Staves. The spear is termed as a "hoplite" spear, which is a name that is simliar to the type of warriors fielded in Greek armies of the time. This is an official weapon of the Silver Dragon Martial Arts Academy.

Kuboton "Mini-baton"
One of the greatest duel purpose self-defense weapons around. This is a great key chain that also doubles as a self-defense and personal protection weapon. The Kuboton or "mini-baton" is modeled after a Japanese Samurai weapon call the Yawarra. The modern version was made popular by a Japanese police offerice named Kubo (hence Kubo-baton or Kuboton for short). comes in spiked and non-spiked version as well as different colors.

Fan "Tai Chi Fan"
Used by nobility in both China and Japan as a self-defense weapon and as a fan. This beautiful weapon is mutli-purpose and teaches many great skills to the Martial Artist trained with it. This is an official weapon of the Silver Dragon Martial Arts Academy. It is also called a Iron Fan, Wushu Fan, and War Fan.

Pick up orders
You may pick up your items that you order on our website store at one of our physical locations. This however does not lower the price. The price is "factored" into and "averaged out". We are already giving very cheap prices on most of our items. Although students may use Silver Dragon Dollars.
Return Policy
We will accept returns within 30 days of purcahse on any item except clothing and patches. The buyer must pay shipping cost.
